Working beside the whiskey bond….

This building was contaminated with whiskey black algae

We were called in to look at a building that was to be painted, but was suffering from whiskey black algae. This building was located on a busy main road and was open to the public from 10am 7 days a week. We changed our working hours to help the client and started on site at 6am and we were finished before 10am each day. We worked on a Sunday morning alongside the main road to remove any issues with traffic or pedestrians coming in contact with our working operation. The client was able to operate his normal working hours throughout our works. We treated the building with KWash and this removed the contamination to such a degree that the painting contract was then cancelled.

The whiskey black contamination is an ongoing issue for any property that is located close to a whiskey bond, but our KWash removes it very easily and keeps the building looking fresh for years to come.

It looks a bit better after a clean with KWash - and then we had some fun with the wheelie bin…..
